The Shoe People ...
What have you got between your feet and the ground?
When you simply want to talk and run around.
There are some friends down there, to take you everywhere...
When the door to the old shoe repair shop is closed for the night, the magical domain of the Shoe People springs to life. The Shoe People take children on fantastic adventures and let them explore the wonderful world at their feet.
This classic children's television series introduced us to Charlie The Clown Shoe, Margot The Ballet Slipper, Wellington The Rain Boot, Gilda Van Der Clog, Baby Bootee and Sergeant Major, and a host of other loveable characters that inhabit the wonderful world of Shoe Town.
The Shoe People, written and directed by the talented James Driscoll opened up a new and exciting world for the children of the 80's, all having their very own favourite shoe 'person'. With delightful characters being introduced and the catchy theme tune being hummed in every playground, this cartoon classic is certain to remain one of the most memorable animation of all time, warming the hearts of another generation of Shoe People fans.
